Before adding anything interactive
- Run an Ofcom and Online Safety Act scope check.
- Run an ICO DPIA screen and, where needed, a full DPIA.
- Document the Article 6 lawful basis before collecting personal data.
- Document any Article 9 condition before processing special category data.
- Assess criminal-offence data before collecting reports about suspected crime or named people.
- Update the privacy notice, cookie position, retention policy, security model, and user safety wording before launch.
